Education: Vocational school center fires 246 graduates

The dream grade 1.0 is awarded seven times. Headmaster Martin Neumann praises the willingness to perform

246 vocational school students as well as eleven asylum seekers and refugees are dismissing the state vocational school center Günzburg with its branch in Krumbach at the end of the first half of the school year. Because the pandemic does not allow a graduation ceremony, the graduates could have their diploma sent to them by post or pick it up at school.

The state vocational school center Günzburg with the vocational schools in Günzburg and Krumbach and the vocational schools in Krumbach currently attend around 1,800 students. Training in the various professions takes two, three or three and a half years. 246 apprentices at the vocational school have now passed their final vocational exams in the professions of automotive engineering, metalworking and construction technology as well as the business and administration fields. Of the twelve best graduates, seven have a dream grade of 1.0.

According to the headmaster Martin Neumann, the trainees performed outstandingly in the last six months of the school year: The TÜV Süd Academy Augsburg trains students to become quality management specialists. This year 17 vocational students took part in the course. According to the headmaster Neumann, the trainees have demonstrated their interest in the job, their willingness to perform and their professional commitment by providing evidence of above-average grades and having passed the final vocational examination. Together with the vocational qualification, a total of 63 pupils could also be awarded the “intermediate school qualification”. For this purpose, proof of at least a satisfactory grade point average and evidence of five years of successful English tuition must be provided.

Jennifer Mesmer (bank clerk, Sparkasse Neu-Ulm-Illertissen) and Natalie Jahnke (sports and fitness clerk, Injoy Königsbrunn) received state prizes for the best in school from the government of Swabia.

The vocational school awarded its best schoolchildren with prizes: Plumbing, heating and air conditioning system mechanic Hannes Kilian (Karl Wörle, Erkheim), precision mechanic Simon Pickl (Wanzl Metallwarenfabrik Kirchheim), industrial clerk Anna Veit (Roma, Burgau), industrial mechanic Noah Le Compte (Scheppach, Ichenhausen) ), Industrial mechanic Lorenz Siegel (Wanzl Maschinenfabrik Leipheim), office management clerk Berna Gürses (Tank und Rast Betriebsgesellschaft Leipheim), health care professionals Alexandra Vieth (Vamed Rehaklinik Bad Grönenbach) and Sebastian Mruk (Barmer Nördlingen), automotive mechatronics technician Felix Holzheu ( Autohaus Schwehr Krumbach) and event clerk Alisa Kollmansperger (Media Academy Augsburg).
