The Ministry of Education has just clarified, on the basis of what is already provided for by the School Decree, that it is an ordinary activity. “We are telling our colleagues to postpone them to after the school starts,” explains Mario Rusconi, head of the Lazio PNA. “Not only to avoid litigation, but also because the institutions are not ready with the return in the presence of the students. We recommend doing them during the year by interrupting the lessons and dedicating a week to recovering the deficiencies”.

And who postpones everything until after the start of the lessons. Above all, high school will start, few cases of middle and primary that will call their pupils back to class as early as next Tuesday.

These are not the old remedial courses, this year they are called Pai, a new acronym among the many in the school world: individualized learning plans. The students were all promoted after the lockdown, but those who did not arrive at 6 carry with them the “debt” to be recovered without necessarily having a final test to verify the recovery (individual schools decide whether to do it).
