In a context of adapted tests synonymous for some with “dummy bac” at the end of a year disrupted by the Covid, more than 500,000 candidates cross the doors of high schools this Thursday morning to take the written philosophy, the only test maintained with the great oral. If the pro bac students have already been working on the French and History-Geography-EMC tests since Wednesday, things are starting to get serious this Thursday for those in the general bac. Another novelty, and not the least: the score will not be calculated as usual for this edition. The one that will be retained will be the best between that of the written examination and that of the average of the continuous assessment. Please note: this does not mean, however, that the pupils can abstain from taking the test. Any unjustified absence will be synonymous with zero elimination. The more confident, on the other hand, can turn a white copy after an hour. In this case, it is the continuous monitoring that will be taken into account.
As a reminder, the baccalaureate exams run this year until Wednesday, June 23 for the pro baccalaureate, and until July 2 for the general and technological baccalaureate. The dreaded grand oral will take place between June 21 and July 2.
