The HAK is the first school in Austria to offer the opportunity to complete the HAK degree online. The training lasts four semesters and is free of charge. It will start in September 2022. The offer is aimed at people who have completed their school-leaving examination, vocational school-leaving examination or university entrance qualification examination and who want to gain qualifications for their professional career, especially in the commercial sector, regardless of their location.

“There will be live online classes three times a week. If a lesson is missed, it can be accessed at any time in the media library and made up for. This enables maximum flexibility in part-time training,” explains HAK director Andreas Lonyai. This results in a huge advantage for Burgenland, provincial councilor Daniela Winkler is also enthusiastic about the new offer. Director of Education Heinz Zitz also says that you are considered predestined because you are offering such a training for the first time in Austria. The offer is also welcomed by the head of the city, Georg Rosner, who sees an upgrading of the Oberwart school location. Information at: www.hak-fernkolleg.at.
