Education meets with directors of educational centers to report on the PBAU of 2021

The meeting has been held to answer the questions derived from the uncertainty caused by organizing the tests in the framework of the pandemic and once the Ministerial Order that regulates the characteristics of the PBAU and the maximum dates of completion of the Ministry of Education has been published. and Professional Training.

The general director of Planning, Organization and Centers, Antoni Morante, explained that an agreement has been signed between the UIB and the Ministry of Education and FP to have a more effective coordination in the organization of the tests and following the indications of the LOMLOE .

“It should be noted that the PBAU has been modernized both in the way of registering, as in the venues for holding the tests, or the objective towards online correction, among others, and this has clearly had to do with the pandemic which forced us to rethink many things already for last year’s call, “said the director.

In this sense, due to the difficulties to finish developing the curriculum of the different subjects under evaluation of the PBAU, and to guarantee that the access to the University takes place in terms of equity, this year it has been agreed to adapt the exams of the PBAU in a similar way to how it was done last year. In addition, this year a logistics similar to that of the 2020 PBAUs is foreseen both in sanitary measures and in the types of space.

Finally, at the meeting it was explained that a modernization process has been promoted that has already been applied in aspects such as enrollment, payment or consultation of enrollment and grades simultaneously through GestIB and UIBdigital. Currently, work is underway for the second phase that provides for the future online correction of the exams and the possibility that students can see the corrected exam before deciding if they have to claim.
