The Secretary General of SLECG, Dame Kadiatou Bah welcomed the inclusion of teachers’ concerns in the specifications presented by the inter-central CNTG-USTG this Saturday, in favor of the International Labor Day.
She took the opportunity to invite the government to make up for the shortage of teachers that arises sharply in school concessions, by recruiting in the sector.
“We are asking the government to activate the teacher recruitment process as quickly as possible, by carrying out a purely special recruitment which should only concern teachers who have to attend class. But, I think the MEN-A has taken the lead, because there are already identification sheets that are in place. Through these forms, recruitment will be decentralized according to the needs of the DPE (prefectural directorates of education) and IRE (regional education inspectorates). This is how we will proceed with a serious recruitment, through a competition that will take place according to the rules of the art, ”she said.
Finally, she invited the MEN-A to be more rigorous in the recruitment process, so that the department is no longer a gateway to the public service.
