This training concerns approximately one hundred operators from central and decentralized structures (DPE/DCE, IRE) in the country.

Minister Jean Paul Cédy was in charge of the publication of the work. He was accompanied by officials from his office.

The procedure aims to control the movement of students during their school visit, but also to prevent replacement candidates, closed sessions and those who have not been admitted from going to a higher class.

This training extends over two days and marks an important step in the implementation of the digital platform for managing the flow of students in intermediate classes and online registration of candidates. It is also an essential asset for strengthening the skills of managers and guaranteeing the success of these new platforms, thus contributing to quality education and effective management of school data.

Speaking about the benefits of the two platforms, the general director of examinations and discipline of the school announced that all candidates entering the 7th year will have a registration number.

« These registration numbers will follow them until the end of their studies. We will still manage the levels of these intermediate classes and the same strengths as the test classes will be applied.”registered Mamadi 49 Keïta.

Regarding the second platform related to the CEE candidate registration method, Mamadi 49 Keïta recalled the online registration of candidates for the BEPC and baccalaureate exams last year which, according to him, was very successful.

“This year, we are going to deal with the 7th year level. This will allow us to have reliable statistics and the list of candidates two months after the opening of classes,” announced the director general of school examinations and discipline.

Regarding the movement of students, he noted the undetected movement and non-archiving of grades at the level of these intermediate classes.

“The tool will now make it possible to deposit grades, and trace the paths of students regardless of the movements in prefectures, regions and even in schools.”he rejoiced.

Finally, he says it is certain that the enrollment numbers assigned to each student will replace the PV during national examinations in the coming years.

“It is a system that promises to simplify administrative processes and ensure better coordination between the different players in the education sector.”he asked.

The Minister of Education and Pre-University Literacy Jean Paul Cédy welcomed this initiative from the General Directorate of Studies, which aims to improve the detection and management of student movements thanks to a unique identifier more than this step a Guinea allows the organization of standard tests at a standard cost.

“We are all aware that today with digitization we reduce human errors, that we have the ability to reduce attempts at fraud, attempts at corruption (…). This is important and allows us to assess the quality of our education. That is why this initiative is welcomed. We support it, but we have also taken every step to ensure that the arrangements being made are in accordance with the legal provisions for the processing of digital information. We believe that the tool that will be mastered by our representatives will allow us to work faster and reduce the cost of these tests for the State, so that our resources will be directed towards much more promising directions, and these are those who have the State certificate. teaching itself, school and educational infrastructure”, named Jean Paul Cédy.

For him, the best way to make up for the gap between developed and underdeveloped countries is to go through digitization.

“Digitalization has the merit of being impersonal and not dependent on people’s wishes. It is much more efficient. We are lucky to have a young head of state who is very aware and very close to new technologies and a head of government who digitizes the entire activity of the Guinean state as his hobby horse. This will significantly reduce the State’s operating costs, which will bring efficiency to our finished products. Therefore, digitization is a necessary step, even at the level of education you can see that we are making an effort to provide records to teachers and students because this allows to empower teachers, students and that helps to reduce some of the problems faced by teachers. in building sensible educational structures. So we have everything to gain, by taking risks,” he added.

However, he warned of the dangers of digitalisation. “It is also our duty as managers to monitor, to pay attention to what is being done because digitization is also an open door to many problems.”he warned.
