BZB without classroom teaching.
The Education Center Bonndorf (BZB) will also remain closed beyond the originally planned start of school after the Christmas holidays on January 11th. This is reported by the school management of the secondary school and the elementary school including the special educational training and advice center (SBBZ). There will be distance learning opportunities for all classes. The background to the decision are the resolutions of the state government and the Conference of Ministers of Education.
According to the BZB school management, there will be emergency care for grades 1 to 7 from the first to the sixth lesson, otherwise there will be online lessons. The need for emergency care at the BZB must be registered using a form by Monday, January 11th. According to the BZB school management, confirmations from employers can be submitted later.
The eighth graders are taught continuously online, confirmed Felix Lehr, the principal of the secondary school, on request from the BZ. There will also be online lessons for the ninth and tenth graders. For the final classes (one secondary school and four secondary school classes), it will be decided in the coming week whether face-to-face lessons are possible on up to two days in the central exam subjects German, math, English and elective subjects.
The state government intends to open daycare centers and elementary schools before the end of the month. The benchmark should be the development of the number of corona cases. Monday, January 18, was named as a possible opening date when the number of cases fell significantly. Secondary schools, such as the Realschulen, should stay with online lessons until at least January 31st. However, special regulations are also possible for graduating classes, if the state government wishes.
