Education. High school students from Baumont high school in Saint-Dié dance on “Jerusalema” for a remote UNSS challenge

Despite the health crisis that disrupts school sport, distance UNSS academic challenges are organized between the establishments of the Nancy-Metz academy.

In terms of dance, for example. At the request of Alexandre Martin, teacher of physical education and sports, about twenty students of 1re G2 from Georges-Baumont high school, boys and girls alike, gave their all, braving the snow and the cold, to embark on a synchronized choreography on the planetary hit “Jerusalema” by Master KG.

“We learned the choreography one day during the lunch break; then, we filmed her in sports clothes, ”underlines Mélissa Colin, one of the students who oversaw this project and edited the final video.

A jury selected four videos (one per department – that of Baumont high school would be the only Vosges in the running) which are published on the UNSS Nancy-Metz Facebook page on Wednesday, December 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The video that will be the most “liked” (on Facebook, a “like” is equivalent to saying “like”) will win the academic challenge.
