Hamburg (dpa / lno) – Almost 100 corona infections have been found at a school in Hamburg-Veddel. The number had increased by 65 cases by Thursday, so that there are now a total of 94 infections, the school authorities announced on Friday. According to the information, the infected make up only 0.2 percent of all Hamburg students and 0.3 percent of all Hamburg school employees.

121 of the approximately 9500 Hamburg school classes are currently in quarantine, that is 1.2 percent. 3724 of a total of 256,000 students are affected, or 1.5 percent. Since the end of the autumn vacation, new infections in schools have been counted in 1874, of which 1511 among schoolchildren and 363 among school employees.
