From Metzkausen into the world: for education from Jordan to Greenland
Prof. Dr. Edda Pulst on her decades of commitment to work and education for young people around the world.

The professor for digitization Dr. Edda Pulst – a native of Metzkausen – combines research, teaching and practice in order to prepare specialists here and in developing countries for the challenges of the present and the future. On Tuesday, April 4th, she will report first-hand to the Metzkausen Citizens’ Association and bring back results and experiences from Jordan and Greenland.
Practical education is the key to progress and jobs. Prof. Dr. Edda Pulst has been supporting tandems between universities and employers from the Middle East to the far North for almost 20 years. In a specially developed training, students work with companies to find a job in their own country. The goals: More local development, less displacement and active dealing with climate change.
Together with her company partners, Edda Pulst prepares young people for the modern world of work. Women in developing countries play a special role in this: They want to move forward and help shape things.
At the local get-together on April 4th at 7.30 p.m. in the Ratskeller, Prof. Pulst explains how their method adapt2job (www.adapt2job.com) works and takes visitors on a journey from Jordan to Greenland.
As usual, visitors can ask their own questions during the event. The monthly regulars’ table of the citizens’ association of Metzkausen is open to all residents and members.
