Freiburg (dpa/lsw) – According to initial indications, possible attacks in a former orphanage in Freiburg remain to be clarified. These are possible cases of sexual, physical and psychological violence in what was then St. Augustinusheim. Possible incidents from the 1980s and 1990s are being researched. The pedagogical practice of that time needs to be completely revised. The Institute for Practical Research and Project Consulting (IPP) in Munich was involved.
The information does not come from directly affected individuals, SkF CEO Mara Roth said on request. There are no announcements yet. We are looking for contemporary and interested witnesses who want to provide information. According to SWR, the Catholic St. Augustinusheim was housed in a villa in Freiburg from 1951 to 2009.
