Brakel (red). For a few weeks now, a small group at the Modexen educational center has been working on the topic of ‘education for sustainable development’ (BnE). On the entertaining evenings, the participants from the Höxter district and the surrounding area jointly explore the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations. The course is led by Doro Ahlemeyer from Nieheim.
Since the group really enjoys learning outdoors, two additional workshops can be held on Monday, August 14 and September 25, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. if desired. Interested people are welcome to participate. Prior knowledge is not required. The knowledge imparted in the workshop serves as a basis for your own events, which can be offered in Modexen in the future. The ESD certification of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia sees itself as a quality management system that encourages and supports non-school educational institutions to implement and further develop education for sustainable development.
