If the coronavirus continues to circulate in the Grand Est, schools are obviously not spared. According to the last census communicated Friday by the rectorate of the Nancy-Metz academy, 780 students have tested positive over the last seven days, including 92 over the last twenty-four hours. A relatively low figure if we take into account the presence of 394,985 students throughout the academy. This represents 0.2%. These students, who are required to stay at home, benefit from the educational continuity provided by their teachers. Over the same period, 117 staff out of 40,445 (i.e. 0.3%) have also tested positive over the last seven days, including 14 in 24 hours. If no school is closed at the moment, eleven classes, out of 17,159 (0.06%), were closed last week. Eight in Meurthe-et-Moselle and three in Moselle.
