Despite the health crisis, the CROUS (Regional Center for University and School Works) maintains its midday service in Épinal. “Unfortunately, we cannot produce on site, so the Crous de Nancy delivers paninis and cold sandwiches to us every day,” explains the director of the Vosges structure, Jeanick Landormy.
The opening hours have been shifted, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in order to adapt to the new remote schedule which is sometimes very elastic for some students. The team is also operating at a minimum and some of the employees have been redeployed in school canteens.

For the students who stayed in Épinal, the Crous continues its service. Usually, nearly 200 hot meals are delivered every day in La Louvière, and nearly 300 in Enstib. Currently, the two structures deliver between 20 and 60 meals. Which is better than nothing because it helps out students, many of whom are in difficult financial situations. To note that scholarship students can benefit from the one euro formula in university restaurants.
