Education: bus and teaching material for Koulamoutou students | Gabonreview.com

Last weekend, Hugues Mbadinga Madiya, a member of the political bureau of the Democratic Party of Gabonese (PDG), on behalf of Ali Bongo, traveled to Koulamoutou to deliver two school buses and a large donation of teaching materials to the five secondary schools in the capital of the province of Ogooué-Lolo. With a success rate of over 94% in various exams, these secondary schools are ranked among the best in the country.

This school year 2022-2023, students from Koulamoutou in the province of Ogooué-Lolo, like those from Greater Libreville in the province of the estuary, will be able to reach their secondary schools by school bus. On 10 September at the state high school Jean Stanislas Migolet, Hugues Mbadinga Madiya, a member of the political bureau of the Democratic Party of Gabon (PDG) sent two buses for school transport to the 5 secondary schools of this municipality in the name of President Ali Bongo . If the action, he said, is within the “implementation of the equal opportunities policy“, the students for their part speak of a”real breath of fresh air“.

In this period of return to school, the gesture is combined with the announcement of the Head of State to offer free school transport to secondary school students. In this part of the country, students residing in areas far from the place of study have had difficulty returning to their facilities on time. If in addition to these two buses there are 5 photocopiers, 60 boxes of reams of paper, 200 scientific calculators and teaching material, Hugues Mbadinga Madiya justifies this gesture with the results obtained in the end-of-year exams by these institutes. That is, a success rate of over 94% ranks them among the best establishments in the country.

I have a duty to tell you that the Head of State has heard the positive echo of your results. In fact, for several years, you have made this city your pride by rising to the top of all the students of Gabon every time, especially in the final exams. And the Head of State has no other words than to be part of excellencesaid Hugues Mbadinga Madiya in the presence of students, teachers and the representative of the governor of Ogooué-Lolo. For their part, the students promised their interlocutor to do better than their predecessors and to make good use of both rolling and teaching material. Same goes for the director of the provincial academy, Jean Hilarion Landa.
