The Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) will launch the Conceptual Framework for Population and Reproductive Health, with support from the European Union, at an event on 1 December 2022.
According to the UN Population Fund release, the work falls within the framework of the Strategic Actions Paper for Partnership that the UN Population Fund signed with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in 2021, in the The scope of the project is to strengthen Egypt’s national demographic strategy with the support of the European Union.
The statement indicated that the partnership aims to integrate the concept of global reproductive health and population education into the education system and includes many activities, including technical support for the development of a comprehensive framework for the integration of health issues reproductive and population education system for middle and secondary school.
The statement indicated that the framework of the concepts of population and reproductive health falls within the framework of the European Union project, which includes the education of young people and the population of childbearing age in family planning through various methods, including the integration of a comprehensive education of the population in school curricula.
