Cuban singer Eduardo Antonio, better known as ‘El Divo de Placetas’, once again worried his fans after he had to undergo emergency surgery in Miami.
The interpreter underwent the procedure at Jackson South Hospital earlier this week, although he only revealed it to his fans this Wednesday.
The new hospitalization comes just a few months after underwent surgery, also emergency, for an intestinal ulcerwhich came after taking strong medications in combination with diverticulosis of which he was not aware.
Through an emotional video on his social networks, El Divo revealed that he underwent surgery for a hernia, which occurred in the wound from his previous operation.
According to what the doctors explained to him, The artist acknowledged that his premature return to the stage may have contributed to this complication.
“I missed the stage and you very quickly. That’s the reason, I’m not going to justify myself. “Here are the consequences,” the singer explained somewhat sadly.
El Divo said that since Saturday he began to feel severe pain, which prevented him from performing at his well-known El Tamalazo show on Sunday. He went to the doctor, and after an evaluation, it was determined that surgery was necessary.
“I had an obstruction and a small abscess. I’ve been in a lot of pain, I can’t practically even move. They are doing all kinds of studies on me and nothing, I am in the hands of God,” she explained.
Also due to this new complication, the artist was forced to cancel his presentation at Añejo, scheduled for February 14.
“The public deserves all the respect from me and Añejo. At another time, God willing, we will see each other. “I’m going to miss tonight a lot,” he lamented.
The new operation comes at a particularly inconvenient time for the singer, since on February 14 she celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband Roy García, a date that she could only commemorate on social networks with a photo of her wedding, because she is still in the hospital.
