It is with great sadness that we report the passing of an outstanding health professional and an exceptional human being. His passing leaves a deep void in his family and in all those who knew him.
On September 3, at 9:00 p.m., one of the greatest doctors Rancagua has ever had, Eduardo Abujatum Abraham, passed away. He passed away at the age of 82 due to cardiac arrest.
Born on January 10, 1943 and educated at the University of Chile, the pediatrician was married to Jeannette Gidi, with whom he built a beautiful family with his two children, Eduardo and Sandra, as well as his 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren who today say goodbye to him with immense pain.
The doctor was a legend of pediatrics, lovingly caring for generations of Rancagua residents at the Alameda Medical Center. A man who deeply loved his profession.
Until last Friday, Dr. Abujatum continued to practice his profession with the passion and dedication that always characterized him. His legacy is not only reflected in his excellence as a health professional, but also in his human qualities, always willing to help and give the best of himself to others.
The community deeply mourns the passing of a man of integrity and tireless worker. Dr. Abujatum’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him and learning from his example.
Those who wish to accompany his family in this moment of mourning can do so starting today at the Riquelme Funeral Home, located in Población Cuadra. A mass in his memory will be held on Thursday, September 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the Divino Maestro Parish.
