In particular, in complicity in the organization of group actions grossly violating public order, related to disobedience to the legitimate demands of government officials and resulting in disruption of transport; in complicity in the organization of actions aimed at inciting hostility and discord on the basis of social affiliation; in tax evasion that caused damage on a large scale.

As for the accusation of income tax evasion, we are talking about the period from 2012 to 2022.

In the accusation voiced earlier by the state prosecutor, it is said that the accused had to declare income and had a real opportunity to do so, but did not submit a tax return to the inspectorate.

In a commentary to journalists, state prosecutor Oleksandr Korol noted that during the judicial investigation it was also established that Eduard Babariko, being the de facto head of the Hive Project organization, organized fundraising through the Mola-Mola and Uley platforms to aid other persons in organizing a number of intentional extremist crimes.

During the court debate, the public prosecutor refused to support the charges under part 2 of article 235 of the Criminal Code (money laundering), in connection with which the proceedings in this part were terminated.

In addition, according to the state prosecutor, during the debate, the actions of the accused were reclassified from complicity in organizing mass riots to complicity in organizing group actions grossly violating public order.

The term of detention will be included in the term of punishment until the court decision enters into legal force (one day of detention corresponds to one and a half days of imprisonment).

The trial in the case of Eduard Babariko began on May 22. The case was considered by the Minsk Regional Court in an offsite session at the premises of the Minsk District Court.
