Edomex will apply covid-19 vaccines to children under the age of 5 until 11 November

TOLUCA, Mex. (proceso.com.mx). – From Monday until November 11, the first and second doses of the vaccine against covid-19 will be applied, for girls and boys aged 5 to 13, in 108 municipalities of the state of Mexico, as well as serving children who are left behind.

Sessions will begin in municipalities such as Metepec and Toluca this Monday from nine in the morning and will extend to the capital until the 11th; in both cases the question was organized by the initial letter of the first surname, but in Metepec it will only be Monday and Tuesday.

The federal and state health authorities of Mexico have reported that those concerned must go to the request centers accompanied by a guardian or adult, as well as present their CURP, birth certificate, proof of address, printed file with QR code, to download on the official website of the Health Secretariat and proof of the first application, if applicable.

There will also be general conferences on November 9 in the northern, southern and volcano area municipalities.

The list of general conferences includes Almoloya del Río, Atizapán, Capulhuac, Chapultepec, Joquicingo, Mexicaltzingo, Rayón, San Antonio la Isla, Texcalyacac, Xalatlaco, Almoloya de Alquisiras, Coatepec Harinas, Ixtapan de la Sal, Malinalco, Ocuilan, Sultepecuilan Tenancingo, Texcaltitlán, Tonatico, Villa Guerrero, Zacualpan and Zumpahuacán in the south and Valle de Toluca.

On the same day, November 9, the sessions will be extended to other cities such as Isidro Fabela, Coyotepec, Cuautitlán, Melchor Ocampo, Tepotzotlán, Tultepec, Teoloyucan, Jilotzingo, Amecameca, Atlautla, Ayapango, Cocotitlán, Ecatzingo, Juchitebapec del Air, Tepetlixpa and Tlalmanalco.

In all these cases and also in Toluca and Metepec, the days will be open for boys and girls “delays” in the application of the covid-19 vaccine.

There will also be workshops on 9 and 10 November, both second doses for 5 and 6 year old girls and boys, as well as for latecomers aged 5 to 13 in the northern municipalities of the entity such as Acambay, Atlacomulco, El Oro, Temascalcingo, Ixtlahuaca, Jiquipilco, Jocotitlán, Morelos, San Felipe del Progreso and San José del Rincón, as well as Calimaya, Tenango del Valle and Tianguistenco, located in the Toluca Valley.

Furthermore, the vaccines will be applied in staggered days according to the letter of the first surname in municipalities such as Huixquilucan, Coacalco, Chimalhuacán and Nezahualcóyotl; as well as Atizapán de Zaragoza, Nicolás Romero, Izcalli, Tultitlán, Naucalpan, Tlalnepantla, Chalco, Valle de Chalco and Ixtapaluca on 9 and 10 November, both for second doses and for late arrivals.

Other municipalities with one-day sessions for the same sector and the same program are: Polotitlán, Soyaniquilpan, Timilpan, Ocoyoacac, Otzolotepec, San Mateo Atenco, Temoaya and Xonacatlán.

Also in Aculco, Speckle Sheet, Jilotepec, Coal Village, Almoloya of Juarez, Zinacantepec, Lerma, Amatepec, Luvianos, San Simon of Warriors, Tejupilco, Temascaltepec, Tlatlaya and La Paz. In these municipalities the application will be exclusively on 11 November.

The health authorities have also opened the same date for the same sector and latecomers (first and second dose), for Amanalco, Donato Guerra, Ixtapan del Oro, Otzoloapan, Santo Tomás, Valle de Bravo, Villa de Allende, Villa Victoria, Zacazonapan, Atenco, Chiautla, Chicoloapan, Chiconcuac, Papalotl, Tepetlaoxtoc, Texcoco and Tezoyuca.
