If Netflix or Amazon Prime are looking for a new idea for a preposterous series, the sulfurous adventures of the Balkany offer a real soap opera with twists and turns. There are obviously the convictions for “tax evasion” and “money laundering”, but, since their debut and their victory on March 6, 1983 in the first round of the municipal elections of Levallois, the spouses have, in their irresistible rise, accumulated the pans. There are the offshore companies set up to cover their tracks or the three luxury properties – in Saint-Martin, Marrakech and Givery – estimated at 9 million euros. Reverent, macho, arrogant, Patrick Balkany has multiplied the roles of interpretation. Heir to a ready-to-wear empire, he says his fortune also comes from the ingots that his father hid everywhere in the family home. He even invented a night of love with BB, who firmly denied this relationship: “I know who I slept with and certainly not with this big redneck, liar, boorish and of a rare inelegance”, has reacted the actress.
