Fuel smuggling has long become a problem in many parts of the country, as well as a source of illicit enrichment for many Angolans, who seek to circumvent the authorities in various ways.

The provinces of Zaire, Cabinda, Cunene, Lundas Norte and Sul are some of those that record this phenomenon significantly. Yesterday, finally, the Executive debated this situation, creating legal mechanisms that aim to stop the evil. It is said that better late than never, an aphorism that applies to the time when the drama of fuel smuggling is going on in the country.
