National public establishment located in the Parc de la Villette, the Cité de la musique – Philharmonie de Paris is a large complex dedicated to the dissemination, education and transmission of music which includes three concert halls, the Music Museum , the Orchester de Paris, temporary exhibition rooms, a set of educational spaces, a media library as well as rehearsal and working rooms for orchestras and musicians. The establishment presents around 500 concerts and three temporary exhibitions each season. It hosts four orchestras in residence, organizes a large number of educational activities and manages the Demos project for youth orchestras across the country. Its mission aims to renew and expand the musical audience by promoting equal access to all, adults, young people and families, to different forms of music. Since September 2021, it has also been welcoming a new permanent space, the Children’s Philharmonic, dedicated to the artistic awakening of children from 4 to 10 years old.
The Education Pole implements, within the Education and Resources Department, many musical projects and offers all audiences, from beginners to amateurs, from 3 months to an advanced age, collective musical practice workshops addressing all types of music. repertoires: awakening and instrumental initiation workshops for children, musical practice workshops for families and adults, educational and participatory concerts, training courses, activities for schoolchildren or even musical projects with a social vocation focused on the territories of proximity.
Placed under the authority of the Deputy Director of the Education and Resources Department and under the responsibility of the administration and drafting manager, the intern will participate in various aspects of communication around the activities of the department, in the drafting of reports for supervisory bodies and institutional partners and monitoring attendance at activities.
