In recent days, a message on social networks suggests that “the cave of the Virgin”, located in Kédange-sur-Canner has been desecrated and that a statuette bearing the image of Mary has been destroyed. Alerted by our local correspondent, the mayor, Jean Kieffer, in any case considered the information serious enough to go immediately to the spot. However, arrived in this small street, it was clear that the three statues of the Virgin who usually appear there were absolutely intact, in good place and that no trace of vandalism was to be deplored.
