Edition Thionville – Hayange | He hits his partner but accuses him of violence

One case may hide another. At first, a father wants to defend his daughter and accuses his new partner of hitting her. The accused mother-in-law is heard by the police. She does not deny the violence. She will also be summoned in a few months to the Thionville court on this matter.

But during the hearings, the police learned that this woman was herself the victim of the blows of the spouse who reported her. She finally recognizes that he has been beating her for a long time. Relatives confirm. A medical certificate and photographs attest to the presence of recent and old bruises on his body.

Violence, ammunition, video surveillance…

The companion, in his forties, finds himself in front of the investigators. He was tried by the Thionville criminal court after his police custody on Monday April 27. He concedes two or three slaps, but minimizes the alleged violence. The couple are of Turkish origin. The companion left her country to get engaged and come to live in Hayange.

During the search of the accommodation, the police got hold of pistol cartridges. They also discovered that the spouse likes to watch what is happening in the entrance of the building: he has installed a video surveillance system connected to his computer. Except that he has no right to do so. These offenses have thickened his case on Monday.

The accused is not unknown to the justice system. He has already been sentenced for violence against a former partner. The court pronounced this time fifteen months in prison, five months of which closed. His lawyer, Me La Schiazza, argued that his client is working. The sentence will be adjusted, the accused will be placed in day parole center.

The ten-month suspended prison sentence will be banned from contacting the victim and holding a weapon for two years. Finally, the companion must justify psychiatric care and follow a course on violence within the couple.
