Crop videos or photos
You can crop a video or photo so that only the selected area is visible during playback. Note that pruning is non-destructive. That is, it has no effect on the original video or photo. You can change the clipping area in your project at any time.

1 Click a video or photo on the timeline.
2 Click in player area on the drop down menu Resize/Crop
and choose the tool crop

3 In the preview window, do one of the following:
• Size: Drag the handles of the crop rectangle to set the crop area. Drag a corner handle to maintain the aspect ratio.
• Position: Place the cursor inside the crop rectangle, and then drag the crop area to a new location.
