Edgars Pujāts: The Life of a Theater Actor and Father of Six

Liepāja theater singing actor Edgars Pujāts became the father of his sixth child less than a month ago.

Together with his wife Martha, he has four children together – Roy Christer, Mark Elliott, Elodia Grace and Kai Aiden. He has two adult sons Kristaps and Madars from a previous relationship.

Looking back on the birth of his first sons and the methods of upbringing at that time, Edgars admits that he devoted little time to his children because there were other values: “Now I have more time, I have simply realized that. Then, when Kristapinš was growing up, I was just after graduation, we were so young, inexperienced, and theater, bohemian. It had so little focus, and it also referred to some family stuff.”
