The deputy of the Liberty and Refoundation Party (Libre), Edgardo Castro, stated that no one has the 86 votes to define the election and formation of the new Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).
“It is very difficult, we are starting from point zero, there is no one who guarantees that they have one, two or three magistrates. The coin is in the air, ”he said.
“El Chele” Castro reiterated that Libre aspires to have 7 or 8 magistrates of the 15 that make up the plenary session of the Supreme Court of Justice.
“The session will adjourn after there is a motion. Consensus depends on the actors who are negotiating this,” she added.
He stated that the Liberal Party initially asked to have 3 magistrates, but later it went on to request 5 and that the National Party is also asking for 5 or 6.
“I have not heard anything, the Liberal Party bench, they say, that they have not been offered anything, the nationalists said the same thing. There has not been an offer of money for anyone, whoever says that is lying, ”he commented.
Regarding the 10 votes of the Salvador Party of Honduras (PSH), “I think they are going to remain completely on the sidelines, it is their position, they are not going to vote,” he said.
“I know that there have been rapprochements with the National and Liberal Party; this is dialogue; we must hope that there is a construction of a Supreme Court of Justice to serve the Honduran people ”, he added.
“Having the 86 votes could define the election of the Court, whoever does not have the 86 is lost. Nobody has the 86 votes, this is going to be in Chinese, ”she pointed out.
