Manchester City have not responded to the loss of Kun Agüero by signing a new center forward. That could change for the new season. Keeper Ederson pleads for his compatriot and national team colleague Richarlison.

“I would get the pigeon (nickname Richarlison, editor’s note),” the Brazilian international goalkeeper told TNT Sports. “He’s a prankster, a clown. There are many words to describe him.”
Richarlison moved from Fluminense to Watford FC four and a half years ago at the age of 19 for just under 12 million euros. A year later, the Hornets sold the international for three times this sum to Everton FC. The 24-year-old is still under contract there until 2024. To buy him out of the working paper, Manchester City would have to put more than 60 million euros on the table.

Richarlison is mostly used as a center forward under Rafael Benitez, but can also come through the left or right wing. For Everton he has played in 127 games so far. His goal rate (44 hits) is quite impressive.
