Club-less Eden Hazard receives tough but honest advice: ‘Just stop it’

Kylian Hazard advises his older brother Eden Hazard to quit football. This is what the 28-year-old attacker from RWDM said in conversation with Het Laatste Nieuws. 32-year-old Hazard has been without a club since last summer, after his contract with Real Madrid was terminated. It has been quiet lately around the 126-time Belgian international, which means a painful farewell to professional football beckons.
In recent years, Hazard was never able to find his Chelsea form again in Madrid, which made the Royals happy that his employment at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu came to an end. Kylian, Hazard’s brother who is four years younger, has clear advice. “If I were him, I would stop immediately.”

If it were up to his brother, the most famous Hazard would end his playing career. “Just stop it. I would like to say goodbye to football. After a long career like his, he deserves to spend time with his family. The final decision is his. It is not for me to know that to make.”
Kylian Hazard followed his brother to LOSC Lille and Chelsea, where he played in the youth academy. He himself has not had a very great career so far. Eden Hazard mainly made waves as a player for the Blues, with whom he won the Premier League twice and the Europa League twice.
Real took over Hazard from the Londoners for no less than 115 million euros in the summer of 2019, after which he never became the same again. In 76 games for the Madrid side, the right foot scored 7 goals and 12 assists.
