Atta Halilintar and Aurel Hermansyah are back in controversy. This time because of Aurel’s holding pose Edelweiss flower.
The Edelweiss flower became Atta and Aurel’s latest controversy after the daughter of Krisdayanti and Anang Hermansyah uploaded a photo of herself holding the plant. Aurel Hermansyah posing holding edelweiss flowers on the sidelines of his vacation to Bromo with his husband.
“Good morning everyone.. yesterday at Bromo, I gave Edelweiss Flowers to my husband.. he said this is the flower of immortality,” Aurel wrote in the caption of the photo she uploaded to Instagram @aurelie.hermansyah.
Because of that upload, Aurel and Atta Halilintar then a flood of criticism from netizens. “It is not Edelweiss flower protected huh??? How come Atta can pick up that many Edelweiss, is it okay to pick protected flowers? Please enlighten me,” wrote one criticizing netizen.
Atta Halilintar Clarification About Edelweiss Flowers
Atta himself has clarified regarding the Edelweiss flower that Aurel is holding when taking pictures. The most popular YouTuber in Asia admitted that he did not pick edelweiss flowers. He bought it from a florist who offered it to him.
“So someone is selling flowers, ‘Sir, please help me’, I asked ‘How much? Rp. 40 thousand’, so I helped, because he said he had not eaten, so I bought it,” said Atta Halilintar to reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday (15 /6/2021).
Atta added that he did not know how the florist’s mother got Edelweiss flowers. Atta himself admitted that he did not know that the flower he bought was Edelweiss.
“Wow, I don’t know (the seller got the Edelweiss flower from), in fact I didn’t even know what flower it was,” said Atta.
The eldest son of the Halilintar family also apologized if his behavior was considered wrong by netizens. “I’m not a perfect human being, I make a lot of mistakes, so if there are mistakes, please forgive me,” he asked
The edelweiss flower that Aurel holds and has become a controversy is an interest that is included in the provisions of Law Number 5 of 1990 Article 33 paragraphs (1) and (2) concerning Conservation of Biological Resources and Their Ecosystems. The law states that it is forbidden to pick Edelweiss flowers that grow on mountains to protect the environmental ecosystem.
