Edeka argues with the manufacturer: is a cult drink flying out now?

According to rumors, the manufacturer even threatened to stop delivery as a sanction against Edeka. However, these claims are denied by the manufacturer Moët Hennessy Germany. According to the managing director, the products will continue to be sold at the currently valid prices. In addition to Moët & Chandon, the producer, which belongs to the French LVMH group, also supplies the fine champagne Dom Pérignon and spirits brands such as Hennessy Whiskey and Vodka Belvedere. Edeka has not yet commented on the scandal.

Moët Hennessy isn’t the first beverage company Edeka messes with. Just a few weeks ago, some Edeka stores had removed all Coca-Cola products from the shelves. The case involved new US group delivery prices. However, sales for the Edeka branches collapsed and the dispute was quickly resolved.-
