Three National Prizes for Literature, nine international prizes, more than 600,000 copies sold of “The Tears of Shiva”, by César Mallorquí, are some of the figures associated with the Edebé Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature, which in this edition turns thirty , “more live than never”.
In an interview with Efe, the director of Edebé publications, Reina Duarte, only regrets that due to the coronavirus pandemic the celebration, on the 27th, must be held with capacity restrictions, although “we will have a representation of all the great family related to the awards and the rest we are waiting for you behind the screens, because we will broadcast the act online”, he explains.
