Eddie Miró hospitalized: family requests plasma and blood donors

The family of the charismatic presenter Eddie Miro confirmed today, Thursday, that the communicator is hospitalized after suffering a fall earlier this week. The librettist is also under medical observation.

Miró suffers from Bethlem Myopathy, a genetic condition that is a type of muscular dystrophy. At 89 years old, and despite having a progressive condition, he remains active and is able to carry out multiple daily activities independently.

The Blood Bank operates Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Donors must be well fed and hydrated and bring a photo ID. The donation process, they reported, takes approximately 35 minutes, after which they can continue with their regular activities.
