Eddie Hearn Questions Opponent Choice After Jared Anderson’s Early Loss to Martin Bakole

Promoter Eddie Hearn mentioned the early loss in an interview with YouTube channel iFL TV Jared Anderson vs. Martin Bakole.

“I didn’t like this fight for Jared Anderson. He is only 24 years old, he is a young and promising fighter who has yet to face serious opponents. Martin, on the other hand, is a world-class heavyweight and a formidable opponent. I thought it was a bad decision for the game. But we have to give credit to Jared Anderson and his team. In the end, this is what we need. He is 24 years old and has a bright future. I’m glad he wasn’t seriously hurt. He fell, but he wasn’t too shocked. He will return.”

Hearn confirmed that Anderson and his team were brave in taking this fight. Although Anderson fell, he was not badly shaken and will be able to return to the ring.
