Ed Sheeran will give an exclusive and intimate concert in Qmusic’s The Qube on October 5. Mattie and Marieke announced this in their morning show this morning. The singer was also a guest in 2012, but was not nearly as well known then as it is now. In two weeks, the now worldwide famous Sheeran will return to the red cube and will sing songs from his new album for the first time in the Netherlands. = (Equals) to be heard.

Almost ten years ago, Sheeran was still a rising star. He needs no introduction for a long time now. With four number one hits and fourteen top 10 listings, he is one of the most successful Top 40 artists of all time. After his international breakthrough with The A Team, he scored hits like Thinking Out Loud, Shape Of You, on Perfect. At the moment his songs are Bad Habits and Shivers in the top 10. Collaborations with artists such as Justin Bieber, Eminem, Khalid and Camila Cabello invariably give him a prominent place in the charts.

Ed Sheeran’s performance will take place on Tuesday, October 5. From September 27 to October 3, listeners have a chance to be there by calling the station if they hear a number from Sheeran.
Other world stars, including Robbie Williams, Dua Lipa, Jason Mraz, The Script, Little Mix, John Legend and Armin van Buuren, have also appeared in The Qube.
