Ed Sheeran Delights Fans with Impromptu Street Concert in New York City

Ed Sheeran doesn’t need much to put on the show. The British star demonstrated it once again in New York last Friday. Delivered from the heavy lawsuits for plagiarism after the decision of the New York court which gave him reason, the interpreter of “Bad Habits” gave an improvised concert to his fans in a street of the Big Apple.

While he had threatened to retire from music in the event of defeat in his legal battle opposing him to the rights holders of Marvin Gaye about his title “Thinking Out Loud” of 2014, Ed Sheeran gladly took up his guitar in front of the pop-up store dedicated to him in the Soho district of Manhattan.

“I am obviously very satisfied”

Surrounded by dozens of fans, the singer climbed on the roof of a car to sing his recent single “Boat”, before continuing with the title “Perfect”. The singer took the opportunity to address the audience present: “I am obviously very satisfied with the outcome of the case,” he said. “It looks like I’m not going to have to retire from my day job after all.”
