Ed Sheeran is the first artist in the world to have 100 million followers on Spotify. In the list of artists with the most followers on the music platform, Sheeran is now at the top.
As a reward for this milestone, the British singer received a T-shirt. In a video Sheeran shared on Twitter on Tuesday, he says: “So I just hit 100 million followers on Spotify and Spotify sent me this T-shirt.” Sheeran wears a shirt that reads “Ask me about my 100 million followers on Spotify”.

“Now I’m going to walk through the stadium and ask people to ask me about my 100 million followers. They will all be very happy for me!”, the singer laughs. The comically intended video shows Sheeran walking up to several people and letting them read the text on his shirt, but no one really reacts enthusiastically.

Sheeran is followed in Spotify followers by Ariana Grande (81.7 million), Billie Eilish (66.3 million), Drake (65.5 million) and Justin Bieber (63.6 million).
