ED Custody Update: Arvindakshan and Jiles to be Produced in Trial Court | Karuvannur Bank Fraud Case

Arvindakshan and Jiles, who are in the custody of ED in the Karuvannur Co-operative Bank fraud case, will be produced in the trial court at 4 pm today. The ED mainly inquired about the account and deposits in Peringandur cooperative bank in the name of Aravindakshan’s mother Chandramati (karuvannur bank fraud case updates).

The remand period of the accused will also end today. The trial court will also consider the bail application filed by the two today. ED is questioning more people in the case today. The court granted one day’s custody. Arvindakshan had argued in court that there was no such account in his mother’s name.

CPIM Councilor PR Aravindakshan stated that Chandramati, who is mentioned in the ED remand report in the Karuvannur case, is not his mother. Aravindakshan said in the court that ED is making false allegations. Aravindakshan told the court that his mother had no such account or bank deposit.

However, the ED countered that the account belonged to Aravindakshan’s mother Chandramati. Arvindakshan admitted this in the first phase of interrogation. The ED told the court that the bank had also provided the information. The ED also accused government agencies of not cooperating with the investigation.
