The delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate will take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew arrived in Ukraine. He was met by Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal and the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanius. About it reported head of the government.

“I thanked for the support provided to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people by His Holiness,” said Shmygal.
Note that this is the first visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch in 13 years.
