Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa receives standing ovation in NY for his efforts to secure TPS for Ecuadorians

“Ecuadorians are proud of their police, their armed forces and their president too.”

This is how the president of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, was received with applause during his visit to NY. Hundreds of people with small tricolor flags listened attentively to the president, especially when he referred to the request for TPS for Ecuadorians living in the United States.

“I say it with pride, we have requested it, so we are waging war in Ecuador, but there are many people who are on their way and need the opportunity to work, they do not want to be given anything, they must have the opportunity to work “Noboa said.

And precisely the Temporary Protected Status would give that peace of mind to hundreds of thousands of Ecuadorians who are irregularly in the United States.

The president also spoke about improving the lives of Ecuadorians so that they do not have to migrate from their country.

“But we also have to do a lot for all the young people who are in Ecuador right now, including some thinking about leaving, those who do not have opportunities in Ecuador, give them the opportunity to study there, to have a job, to be able to see his family in peace in Ecuador,” added the president. “That is the goal to learn and remember and keep in the hearts of each of our brothers outside the country. That Ecuador is there and they can have a better life.”

Precisely after the declaration of internal armed conflict and the fight against narco-terrorists, President Noboa has more than 84% approval.

“It is the government plan of President Daniel Noboa. And proof of this is that within the 100 days of government we have had two very powerful gestures. The first, which is to have requested the United States government to grant a TPS this temporary permit in favor of the Ecuadorians. And the second, the visit he is making today to the Ecuadorian community in New York,” said the consul of Ecuador, José Sandoval.

Daniel Noboa.

A community that grows and that does not forget its country. Several children born in NY received Ecuadorian citizenship from the president.

“As president of the Civic Committee, I hope that there is this opportunity so that everyone can have at least a work permit and it is for the benefit of Ecuadorians,” said Oswaldo Guzmán, president of the Ecuadorian Civic Committee, NY.

“There are many Ecuadorians who do not have legal status in the United States and many years have passed since that time. Ten years, 20 years, 30 years and well that would be a way, an interesting resource for many Ecuadorians to become legal. Have a permit work, have medical services too,” said Doménica Mena, activist.

And President Noboa told his compatriots that the country’s risk has decreased significantly and it was precisely about that that they spoke with Wall St. investors on Friday, giving them the good news.
