The energy company will charter by the end of the year the replica of the ship which had initiated the bunkering of the “Jacques Saadé” in Rotterdam in November

– Total today announced the signing of an agreement with the cruise line MSC for the bunkering of its three future LNG-powered liners currently under construction in Saint-Nazaire, during their stopovers in Marseille. The company will thus be the second customer, after CMA CGM, of the energy company in this segment, and it is moreover the solution deployed last November, in Rotterdam, to supply the container ship Jacques Saadé, which will be duplicated. by setting up, by the end of the year, a bunker ship in the Port of Marseille. “We are having a supply vessel built in Shanghai, China, able to serve different types of customers,” explains Jérôme Leprince-Ringuet, Vice-President Marine Fuels at Total.
