The company Hidroenergía Consultores en Ingeniería SRL has shares in Jorge Alva Hurtado and Jorge Alva Luperdi, father and brother of the head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). The company managed to win the award for S / 1.5 million to carry out a consultancy in the Irrigation Subsector Program (PSI), an organ of the Ministry of Agriculture.
However, the State Contracting Law prohibits family members of ministers from having contracts in the public sector.
