Economy – In Draguignan, a social and medico-social convention – Petites Affiches des Alpes-Maritimes

The commitments of the municipality with regard to the PRISME project include support for the process, the funding of support missions, the provision of a room at the Maison de la solidarité for the installation of the platform as well as a land for the architectural project of 1,500 m² ”, welcomes Alain Hainaut, Deputy Delegate for Social Affairs, Handicapped People and Early Childhood.

Since 2014, a proactive policy of taking people with disabilities into account has been developed by the City of Draguignan. This resulted in the creation of the Adapted Activities Pole in November 2014, the establishment of a Parent Child Reception Center (registered in the Child and Youth Contract) in November 2015, facilitating the reception of very young children. disabled in nurseries. In 2018, the City launched a PRISME project, via a GCS-MS. In 2019, she opened a pre-school autism teaching unit at Paul Arène school for children aged 3 to 6. This unit is intended for children with autism spectrum disorders who need adapted support with inclusion in the school environment. Then, the municipality installed the PRISME platform in a room at the Maison de la solidarité in Draguignan, where it has been operational since September 2020.

Finally, on December 22, the City joined the GCS-MS.
