The Minister of Cooperation is in discussions with the World Bank to prepare a strategy for the period 2023-2027

Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation and Governor of Egypt at the World Bank Group, had a telephone call with David Malpass, President of the World Bank Group. Al-Mashat discussed with the President of the World Bank Group the developments in preparing the joint national strategy between the two sides for the period 2023-2027, which is prepared in the light of the main axes and objectives, which are the development of the working environment, strengthening the private sector’s role in job development and job creation, promoting investment in human capital, enhancing cooperation in the fields of green transformation, in particular at the level of adaptation and mitigation projects climate change, and strengthening efforts to achieve global and sustainable growth.

The current cooperation portfolio between Egypt and the World Bank includes more than 14 development projects and 23 technical support projects.

“Communications”: A Memorandum of Understanding to Invite Young Nigerians to Study at Misr Informatics University

Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications, has signed with his Nigerian counterpart, Dr. Issa Ali Ibrahim, a memorandum of understanding for a period of 5 years, which provides for strategic cooperation between the two ministries in the broadband sectors and optical network connectivity communication networks, end-user devices and value-added services, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship, software and infrastructure development Innovation, institutional capacity building and skills development, applied research and innovation, postal services and spectrum management.
