Hamburg’s Court of Auditors will present its 2023 annual report on Monday (11 a.m.). In it, the Court of Auditors takes a close look at the budgetary and economic management of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. This also includes the examination of the budget and consolidated accounts for 2021 by the Parliament and Senate.

In its last annual report, the Court of Auditors attested that the red-green Senate had deficient asset accounting and IT processes as well as incomplete or incorrect accounting. The annual and consolidated financial statements of the city only provide a limited insight into the actual situation of the asset, financial and earnings situation, complained the President of the Audit Office, Stefan Schulz.
