Ecograf’s Epanko graphite project achieves milestone for loan cover from Germany

EcoGraf is building a vertically integrated RF-free battery anode material business that supports the global transition to clean energy and electric mobility. To date, over $30 million has been invested to create two highly attractive, viable graphite companies.

The first new, state-of-the-art EcoGraf processing facility in Western Australia will produce spherical graphite products for export to Asia, Europe and North America, using superior, environmentally friendly HF-free purification technology to provide customers with sustainably produced, high-performance battery anode material. Subsequently, the battery graphite manufacturing base will be expanded with additional processing facilities in Europe and North America to support the global transition to clean, renewable energy over the coming decade and the rapid growth in battery materials.

Complementary to these battery graphite activities, the Company is also developing TanzGraphite’s natural flake graphite business with the development of the Epanko Graphite Project, which will provide additional feedstock for the battery anode material plants and provide customers with a secure ESG supply chain from mine to market.
