“Eco’Cotte Collective Chicken Coop Aims to Reduce Food Waste in Béziers”

Funded by the Department of Hérault thanks to his participatory budget and carried by Young Economic Chamber of Béziers Piedmonts Littoral (JCE), the Eco’cotte collective chicken coop settled on a plot of solidarity garden in Lespignan, in Biterrois.

The project aims to reduce food wasteby collecting household food waste and using it as chicken feed.

Preserve the environment in a friendly way

It’s a real virtuous circle, where food waste is transformed into useful and sustainable resources. Families, schoolchildren, young and old will be actors in this place of life, in order to promote social ties and sharing with a common goal: that of preserving our environment.
