Codes Rousseau, a new member of the Alliance of Mobility Education Networks, and the telematician Optimum Automotive have joined forces to change the behavior of drivers in business. They hope to make them aware of the challenges of eco-driving and road safety, notably with the help of Codes Rousseau’s “EasyCoach” e-learning platform.
Analyze employee behavior …
As a reminder, the Optimum Automotive platform already has a “Driving analysis” service in order to identify risky behavior. Concretely, a telematics box constantly measures the parameters of employee behavior (braking, bends, acceleration). Depending on the results, an “eco-index” rating is then assigned. This platform also includes an animation tool to create eco-driving challenges.
… before training them in eco-driving
“This driving diagnosis by Optimum Automotive will be accompanied by training in eco-driving offered by Codes Rousseau. Employees thus become part of the company’s responsibility for CO.2, reduction in claims, and savings in terms of maintenance and fuel consumption ”, explains Daniel Vassallucci, CEO of Optimum Automotive.
Codes Rousseau’s “EasyCoach” e-learning platform includes seven configurable modules, available for six months by default. Each module consists of twenty questions. At the same time, the training program addresses driving rules, eco-responsible behavior at the wheel, or even road risk prevention, for example. In total, employees have access to thirty multimedia courses on ten themes.
For his part, the fleet manager receives the driver’s progress and statistics by e-mail. Finally, this “coaching” on eco-driving ends with an assessment of knowledge and validation of acquired knowledge at the end of the course.
